Zlatan Ibrahimovic agrees deal with New York City FC

Zlatan is known for self-confidence
APRIL FOOLS!
In an incredible coup, New York City FC have announced that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will join the club as their third designated player on July 1.
The Swede is one of the most feared strikers in world football and has won the league title in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and France.
Zlatan will partner World Cup winner David Villa upon his arrival at the end of the current Ligue 1 season where his Paris Saint Germain side currently sit top with eight games remaining.
A New York City FC spokesman said: “We are delighted that Zlatan has agreed to join New York City.
“The club is hugely ambitious and we believe that his arrival, along with Frank [Lampard], will help us push on to the next level, and help us compete for silverware.
Another audacious Ibra effort
“Zlatan is one of the best players in the world and it is a huge statement from the club and MLS that he will join us this summer.”
Ibrahimovic has won the league title, with six different clubs, in 12 of the last 14 seasons – for him winning is a way of life.
With Lampard’s arrival also imminent, New York City are building a team that should make the play-offs and could contend for the MLS Cup.
